Piano Studio

      Welcome to Cultus Musicus Studio!

Whether you are a parent of a young beginner, or you are a seasoned student, here you will be able to find whatever you are looking for. If you are interested, I can help you study the acoustic piano in depth and all of its sophistication.

We can also get into advanced piano playing without necessarily getting into strictly classical repertoire. However, obtaining the right technique would be really useful. Piano is a physically demanding instrument, and accommodating to it takes quite a bit of learning about your own hands and arms, as well as specific practicing. Usually, so-called études (studies), as well as scales, chords and arpeggios help a great deal, although it doesn’t stop there.

If you are just into recreational playing, we can study the piano the easier way, just getting acquainted to the features of the instrument, playing whatever you like without getting into the depths of it, and staying on the level you feel comfortable with.

I definitely hope that you would do your part for our lessons, because if you don’t practice enough at home, you will tend to “slip back down” a bit between the lessons. It is always better to get through the initial part of the study quicker.

The fun part begins after you have already started feeling easier with the written text and figured out how to move your fingers independently. They say, overcoming the first 20% of new things take 80% of our efforts, and that sounds just about right.

If you are an aspiring undergraduate and you need a classical consultation regarding any technical problem, or problems with your hands, or stylistic advice, or you are not sure how to structure your individual practicing correctly, feel free to contact me.
